Cup-of-Joe

 Secretary of the Navy in 1913, Josephus Daniels, prohibited alcohol aboard naval vessels leading to more coffee consumption. It's a shortened version of two other slang terms for coffee: java and jamoke.  but this method that the american sailors got was Joe is prohibiting us from alcohol but their Italian sailors drank espresso...  so the first Cup-of-Joe was really hot water over espresso.  The Americans liked the coffee but as strong as the Italian Navy.  Today Cup-of-Joe is commonly a term for pour me a  mug of "drip brew"  off of that Mr Coffee maker.

 Wigomat coffee
The Wigomat was the world's first electrical drip coffee maker and patented in 1954 in Germany. It was named after the inventor Gottlob Widmann "Wi-go-mat", although some early machines were delivered as "FK-1" (for filter coffee machine).Having a big sale, on-site celebrity, or other event?
